Bermuda to Azores Wx - 31 May

Bermuda to Azores Wx
31 May

Good morning. A storm centre NW of the Azores with an associated circulation extending W to near 45W between 35N and 45N. This will begin to gradually weaken thru 31/05 while slowly drifting E. This will continue weakening and be near 45N/30W by 01/06. The low will then lift N weakening thru the morning of the 02nd.

On the 02nd, a strengthening low near 45N/35W with an associated cold front extending SW to about 35N/45W. This will move NE to 47N/33W while strengthening to a gale by the 04th at which time the tail end of the front will be near 34N/40W. The gale will then continue slowly NE while beginning to weaken on the 05th as the front moves thru the Azores.

A high pressure centre 38N/52W. This will move SSE to about 33N/49W thru 01/06.
Tomorrow morning, the associated ridging will extend near Bermuda E to about 35W. The high will remain stationary thru the 02nd as the ridging builds E near Madeira. The high and associated ridging will then remain in place for the following few days with little change.

Conclusion: Due to the storm mentioned above, very heavy weather is expected across the region the next few days. The system will begin to weaken thru the day today which will result in an easing of conditions gradually over the next few days. However, swell up to 20feet are expected to persist across Zone LL and NN for the majority of the day today. Then as the system continues to weaken swell across the entire area will decrease to 10 feet or less 01/06.
