Synopsis: A cold front currently extends WSW'ward from the Azores to the N'rn Bahamas. This front will slowly weaken as it moves ESE'ward across the central Bahamas through the 11th.
A ridge of high pressure is currently centered near 25N/33W with a ridge axis that extends W'ward to the Leeward Islands and the central Bahamas. This ridge will gradually move E'ward back across the E'rn Atlantic through the 10th. Another (stronger) ridge of high pressure will build S'ward from New England, across Bermuda and the N'rn Bahamas by this morning. The center of this high pressure will move SE'ward to just north of Bermuda, with moderate to strong ridging persisting across the Leeward islands to the Florida Peninsula through the 13th.
A developing gale over the Canadian Maritimes will quickly move ESE'ward, just west of the Azores by the 11th while completely absorbing the aforementioned cold front. This stronger cold front will propagate E'ward across the Central Atlantic, moving across the Azores by the 12th.
Conclusion: Across Zones B and E, generally NE-E'ly winds are expected to persist across the W'rn Atlantic over the next 2-3 days as several areas of high pressures build around the region. Overall, moderate to at times freshening breezes are expected as winds will gradually veer.
In Zone C, conditions are expected to remain relatively breezy through today, before the ridge moves over the region by the 11th, causing light and variable conditions.
All three zones are expected to encounter swell ranging between 4-7 feet over the next 2-3 days, with isolated squalls possible in Zones B and E.
