The World Cruising Club team are here to help make your participation as enjoyable as possible. All of our team members are keen sailors with a wide range of experience in cruising and racing offshore.
During the rallies all of the team will wear yellow World Cruising Club polo shirts. Our ‘yellow shirts’ will be on hand to help every day, from taking your lines to ensuring the social activities go with a swing.
Andrew Bishop: Managing Director
Andrew has overall responsibility for the planning and logistics of our rallies, and relations with our many sponsors and corporate members. Andrew has been sailing since he was a boy, including JOG races, one of the very early ARCs in 1989 and Caribbean and Pacific cruising. He now sails his own "Spray of Wight" a wooden replica of Joshua Slocum's Spray on the west coast of Scotland.
Jeremy Wyatt: Communications Director
Jeremy is in the lucky position of speaking to many of our participants well before the start of their adventures. He runs our website and print media as well as helping with preparation, advice at seminars. He a keen sailor and has sailed around the world with the Europa 92 rally, and made a double-handed circumnavigation of Britain. Living in Cowes he is right on the water's edge and enjoys evening and weekend racing on one-design day boats.

The World ARC team - Suzana Tetlow, Stefano Palumbo, Victor Taburiaux and Murray-Walker, will be on hand to meet you in port, help with local officials and to organise the social and sightseeing itinerary.
World Cruising Club USA
Husband and wife team Andy Schell & Mia Karlsson run all our US rallies and will be in port to greet boats, handle the officialdom and organize the festivities.
Mia has a degree in Tourism Management from Södertörn’s Högskola in Stockholm. She’s also a keen sailor, with three Atlantic crossings and several thousand bluewater miles under her belt.
Andy has been with World Cruising Club since 2009, after skippering several boats in the Caribbean 1500. He’s a Yachtmaster Oceans and USCG licensed captain, and a contributing editor for SAIL Magazine.
