ARC Europe Weather: BVI-Bermuda 10 May

ARC Europe Weather: BVI-Bermuda
May 10 06:31z

Synopsis: A ridge of high pressure currently centered over NE'rn US is forecast to shift to the east of Bermuda by 11th/PM and begin to broaden and weaken across the Central Atlantic on 12th. High will gradually shift to NE, while remaining near SW'rn Azores by 15th extending ridging into S'rn Caribbean and Iberia.

A strong Low will be centered near 39N/67W by evening of 14th, while an associated cold front extends SW across Bermuda.

Conclusion: Conditions across Zones C and E over the next 2-3 days are expected to remain very favorable for transit as the ridge of high pressure is expected to remain over the W'rn Atlantic. For Zone C, winds will drastically decrease later today and into the day tomorrow as the ridge moves over the area. Swells are expected to remain between 4-7 feet. For Zone E, winds will remain on the higher side especially on the s'rn side of the zone due to the ridge to the northeast. Overall conditions will remain favorable with swells ranging between 4-6 feet on average.
