Bermuda to Azores Wx - 24 May

Good Morning.

High pressure is centered 35N/43W with associated ridging extending from Bermuda ENE to just W of the Azores.This high will drift slow W thru the morning of the 27th as the ridging remains in place.The high will then weaken as the ridging shifts S and extends from Bermuda to the Canary Islands on the night of the 27th and dissipates thru the 28th.

A cut off gale will be centered NE of the Azores on the 25th, and will remain stationary thru the 26th, then drift n on the 27th while weakening.Associated warm front will extend NE from low center thru the Bay of Biscay on the 25th, and will weaken into a trough on the 26th.

Circulation associated with his low will move ENE to along NW Iberia later on the 27th thru the 28th.

On the morning of the 27th, a developing low will be Grand Banks.This will move E while strengthening/developing 44N/35W by the night of the 28th.This will then remain MST stationary as the associated circulation is in place over the Azores thru the 30th before the low weakens/dissipates.

Conclusion: Weak high pressure across the area will result in overall favorable conditions across the area for the next few days.Moderate WND will be in place across the area.Swell will gradual ease from W to east across the area over the next few days.The highest conditions will be found in E Zone LL due to the proximity to the gale circulation the Azores.
