Aurora B - Land ahoy for Aurora B - Day 18

All go on Aurora B as we prepare for a late night / early morning arrival in St Lucia tonight. Ted the Bear and the kids have been helping with the tidy up, they even have managed to find some body wash for a shower, everyone will be grateful for that! All in shock as we have made it and are so pleased with ourselves.. read more...

Eva would like some more Amazon gift vouchers so she can read more books, Ted the Bear would like a new T-shirt, his is starting to smell a bit, and I would like to have a bath.. read more...

Aurora B - Half way there on Aurora B - 10

We celebrated half way (in both formats: as the crow flies and miles sailed to date) with a beer for the adults and an ice cream for the kids and Ted the Bear. it was the end of a slow day where were we felt we were bobbing rather than moving forward. But that has changed now and we are back up to doing 6.5 knots progress.. read more...

Aurora B - The fun never stops on Aurora B - Day 6

With it being the 1st December we managed to dig out the advent calendar... and the kids and Ted the Bear spent a good time working out how to share the tin of Cadbury Hero’s so that all crew members got an even share over the course of the crossing. Making whoevers turn it is to “open” the advent calendar that little bit more exciting...We also managed to turn the eggs and make sure all were okay. Play some ukulele, some colouring of the large rocket ship that we will assemble in St Lucia and watching the flying fish.. read more...
