Bermuda to Portsmouth WX21 MayGale currently centered near 37N/67W, extends across Zones I and F, SW across SE Georgia, expected move NE towards SW Nova Scotia thru afternoon 23/05. As it moves NE, it will broaden and develop into a complex gale extending from Nova Scotia, SW towards SE Georgia.An associated cold front will initially extend SW along the SE US coast this morning, and will move NE with the gale thru 23/05. During the afternoon of 23/05 is will extend from 40N/50W, SW towards Hispaniola.Conclusion: heavy squalls associated with the gale, on top of the already rough conditions associated with the gale in general expected in Zone I and F over next few days.Strongest conditions will occur this afternoon thru tomorrow Afternoon/evening, as the gale develops and strengthens.. read more...

Bermuda to Portsmouth Wx20 May Good morning.A weak front is stalled from Georgia E and then NE to a low N of Bermuda. Will drift S thru tonight and dissipate to the N of Bahamas 21/05.Broad ridging extends from one high across the Carolinas to a second near Michigan. The Michigan high will become dominant as it drifts E and absorbs the high across the Carolinas. The ridging will strengthen in the Carolinas somewhat 21/05 night, while remaining broad/weak across the Mid Atlantic into early 21/05.Low pressure will develop across the Carolinas on 21/05, strengthening gale as it moves NE to the S of New England by early 22/05. Bermuda to Portsmouth Wx  19 May Good Morning.Developing low centered near 35N/68W will move NE towards 40N/55W thru 20/05 evening when an associated cold front will extend SW to 30N/65W. Low will strengthen moving to Grand Banks by afternoon of 21/05 when the tail end of the cold front will be near 32N/55W. As Low continues E across the Atlantic, it will pass N of Azores on night of 22/05.20/05 morning, high pressure ridging will build E off US Coast behind the low. Will move E across the Atlantic to be near 35N/45W on night of 22/05.On evening of 21/05 developing low moves off coast of Delmarva Peninsula. Portsmouth to Bermuda WX18 MayRidge of high pressure from 33N/50W W to 65W will move to 25N/68W ENE to 31N/50W on the night 19/05 then drifts S thru 21/05.  An area of low pressure now forming off the S Carolina coast will move ENE to 36N/65W thru later 19/05, then strengthens into a gale while moving NE to 41N/50W thru 21/05.An associated front is located just offshore the US East Coast. Will move E, and extend from the low SW to Exumas on 19/05. Then drift SE thru 21/05.  A weak area of high pressure will form near 33N/73W on night of 19/05, will move NE to 38N/60W on 21/05.  A strong low will likely form over S Carolina on the morning of 21/05, which will strengthen while moving NE to the entrance of the Chesapeake thru the night of 21/05.Conclusions:Moderate to fresh. read more...

Portsmouth to Bermuda WX - 12 May Good Morning.Ridge of high pressure lies between the NE Caribbean/Florida and NE Caribbean/Bermuda, and Bermuda/Florida. Will begin to weaken between Florida and Bermuda on 13/05 as a front moves off US near Carolinas to Florida. Front will pass N of Bermuda on 14/05 strengthening slightly. Broad high pressure will remain in place between S Florida / NE Caribbean as front passes. Ridging will remain in place between NE Caribbean/ Bermuda for the next few days with little change.   Conclusion: As front moves off the US and strengthens, SW winds will freshen across Zone I and Zone F. BVI to Florida WX - 12 May Good Morning.Ridge of high pressure lies between the NE Caribbean/Florida and NE Caribbean/Bermuda, and Bermuda/Florida. Will begin to weaken between Florida and Bermuda around on 13/05 as a front moves off US from Carolinas to Florida. Broad high pressure will remain in place between S Florida and NE Caribbean as front passes to north. Ridging will remain in place between NE Caribbean/Bermuda for the next few days with little change.Conclusion: moderate E trade winds will be in place for the next few days as the ridging remains in place. This ridge of high pressure is forecast to broaden through tomorrow while weakening, as it moves slightly W'ward towards 55W. BVI to Florida WX08 MayPREPARED: May 08 09:50z FM: WEATHER ROUTING INC. (WRI)Synopsis: A front extends from just east of Bermuda SSW'ward to near 25N/65W and then sw'ward to the Dominican Republic. The front will stall in this same general area today, moving little through tonight as it weakens to a trough. The trough will then drift w'ward starting tomorrow and by late tomorrow it will extend from near 27N/65W sw'ward to the Dominican Republic, then weakening further as it moves to extend from 27N/67W to the Turks/Caicos.Broad ridging covers west of this front to Florida and s'ward across the Bahamas.
