Good Morning.

Developing low centered near 35N/68W will move NE towards 40N/55W thru 20/05 evening when an associated cold front will extend SW to 30N/65W. Low will strengthen moving to Grand Banks by afternoon of 21/05 when the tail end of the cold front will be near 32N/55W. As Low continues E across the Atlantic, it will pass N of Azores on night of 22/05.

20/05 morning, high pressure ridging will build E off US Coast behind the low. Will move E across the Atlantic to be near 35N/45W on night of 22/05.

On evening of 21/05 developing low moves off coast of Delmarva Peninsula. Will move NE to just SE of Maine by night of 22/05, when associated cold front will extend SSW to N Bahamas.

Conclusion: Strong/ gusty winds with swell of up to 10 feet at times will be in place across SE Zone F and NW Zone C this morning and move E across N Zone C thru today as the developing low moves out of the area. Conditions will then ease across Zone F and C thru the 20/05 as high pressure builds off the coast. Building low expected to rapidly strengthen across Zone I on 21/05. Will bring strong / gusty winds along with large swell exceeding 10 feet on 21/05.

The main area of the Gulf Stream extends from about 34N/76W in S Zone I NW to about 38N/71.5W in N Zone F at an average of 1.5 knots. Variable CRRNTS are found elsewhere across the forecast area.
