Last Minute Change to Nazare. 02/07/2022

The winds took the ARC Portugal fleet to the magnificent city of Nazaré, instead of Peniche as scheduled. It was from mid afternoon onwards that the first boats started to communicate with the rally control by VHF, saying that they were already approaching the finish line and would soon be in the marina. For two and three days, the Clube Naval da Nazaré received the participants with the hospitality and friendliness that have always characterised them, ensuring that everyone was happy and could get their well-deserved rest. After a programme full of activities in Figueira da Foz, the participants were able to enjoy the charms of this seaside city on their own and also enjoy a lovely lunch, organised and run by the Yellow Shirts' team at the Adega Oceano restaurant.
