Elli Di - Log Day 1 - Abandoned boat found

On 30th of October at 1125 Hrs, we saw a littletriangle, at first I thought it was a whale and got very excited. However, oncethe wave went down, the boat revealed itself.It felt very dramatic as none of us knew if we wereabout to find a stranded sailor or worse, a dead person. We put our sails down,switched the engines on and turned around for a closerinspection.To our relief, the boat was empty with a good engine andempty water bottles. (Luckily no skeletons although I secretly hoped we wouldhave found one) The boat had the following text on the bow 'Mona12.1.11985'  Who knows what stories Mona has totell but it shows how mysterious Atlantic ocean can be and that is prettyexciting!
