Petoya Too - Petoya Too on the way southwards

After strong winds and heavy swell on the Start we tried to go westwards and hoped to get a Wind window for a direct Trip to St. Lucia. But allthe weather forecasts were right. The ridge will come more south and we changed our plan. So now we are heading south as we should have done from beginning on. Today we had a very nice siling with our spinnaker and hopefully we are on the way, to get a little closer to the yachts in front of us. We are in good condition although I have a little problem with a rib because of hitting an edge on the boat very rough. For tonight the spinnaker is down but as soon as possible we want to sset it again to get a little faster. Best wishes for a safe trip for all the crews out there. Regards, Thomas. read more...
