La Pecadora - Log 003 - The Crew is on its way

After a very warm fare well from Costa Rica in company of the ladies at the Airport, the first leg over the Atlantic on a red-eye 12 hour flight is complete. La Pecadora - Log 002 - Entering the Atlantic -

On Saturday, Oct.28th @ 16:50 UTC, La Pecadora got her first “taste” of the Atlantic Ocean. As she crossed the Strait of Gibraltar and managed to catch some favorable winds in the range of 26 knots, her SOG picked upto 14kn. A very nice welcome to be in these new waters!! La Pecadora - Log 001 - Back in the Water -

Since La Pecadora departed on June 25th 2017 from Portoroz - Slovenia, she has crossed the Adriatic, the Gulf and Canal of Corinth, criss crossed through the Aegean Sea, the Ionian Sea, the Tyrrhenian and Balearic Sea, covering more then 3000nm.  After a 14 day stop in Port Adriano - Mallorca, where she underwent some final preparations for her Atlantic crossing, La Pecadora is now under way since Oct-21st, and currently in the Alboran Sea, heading for Gran Canaria. With 23 days to go for the startof the ARC Atlantic 2017 Regatta. The excitement and expectation is clearly mounting for the whole Crew. LCDR. C.Schmidt. read more...
