Philocat Ena - visitor / besuch

Nicht oft bekommt man fernab von Land und Zivilisation ungebeten Besuch,umso entzückter waren wir gestern Abend, als sich ein Vögelchen ins Cockpitverirrte, nein, es sich ganz speziell aussuchte, mehrfach rein und raus flogund schließlich die Nacht bei uns verbrachte. Nach 14 Tagen auf See freutman sich über die kleinste Abwechslung wie ein Kind zu Weihnachten...It is not often that you receive guests, far from land and civilisation.Therefore, all of us got reaqlly excited when a little bird entered ourcockpit in the evening hours. It flew in and out and in and out and aftersome circles it even decided to spend the night with us - which we reallyenjoyed. Philocat Ena - heads up

It's about time to give you all heads up.We've had some exhausting last days as Stefan's leg got very infected and wewere not sure how to treat him correctly or whether to call the helicopterin order to get him to hospital. But nothing is easy off shore and sometimesthere is just nothing you can do. Franziska was in close contact with thehead of the Austrian society of maritime health and safety and anothercompetent doctor and they helped us through. The leg seems to get betternow, Stefan is feeling better, too.As there is hardly any wind left, the pink Spi is absolutely neccessary.Instead of trying to fix the broken part I just tied a big fat knot on topand though it might not be in best shape this funny construction has lastednow for the past 48 hours and we even gain some speed.Due to. read more...
