at last a flat day our first week took us on a northerly route with 20 30 knt winds and 5 m swell  as we are now halfway  we have steady 15 knt winds we have seen one boat in 11 days and are out of radio range of the fleet we have used the parasailor but had a bit of fun getting it down in the dark when wind got up dean caught a dorado which was delicious and i have lost 2 swordfish one 8 ft in length still see birds even though 1500 miles from land skipper on top form food variableA HUGE THANKYOU TO ALL WHO SAW US OFF Paco anna john kate richard john h chris and TK all is well on SYLVIA  apart from weevils in the custard creamsCheers simon tom dean. read more...
