Forced ARC+ We are literally hunted by bad luck. After 3 Days the 24 Volt alternator ran hot during battery charging- broken bearing Apparently we had a air bubble in the diesel tank when refueling, there where 200 liters of diesel missing, and because we couldn´t charge the batterieswhile going under motor, we decided to go to Mindelo, in addition, Boat CV ensured us that they had a 24 Volts alternator in stoke. So Mindelo. After arriving at dust, it turend out that Boat CV didn´t have an alternator, that was in the afternoon. We then went out an bought an historic alternator at a car yard by our selfes, a car yard like you would imaging in africa and built it in until 2 o´clock at night. On Tuesday morning at 9 we left Mindelo, we almost lost 2 days by then. The "new" alternator broke. read more...
