Millport II - Ted's Diary

Day 21:The wind is still very strong so I am still not allowed to fish.Dad said that it will probably be like this until we get to St. Lucia which is good because we will get there quickly but bad because no fishing.Robert and I made more Christmas decorations instead.Because it is so windy we were able to play the Wii today and watch a movie without running the generator. We only have 6 apples left so Mum took down the apple net today as well which we are all happy about. It was hanging above the table and we were always bumping our heads on it.We had sausage and bean stew for dinner, it was nice and a good change from chicken.. read more...

Millport II - Ted's Diary

Day 16:Today was really really hot.It was so hot that Mum and Dad said that we didn't have to do any school work today. There is no wind and the water looks really shiny and flat. This afternoon to cool down we all went swimming. It was lovely but a little strange as well because we are so far away from any land.Karen got stung by a jelly fish tentacle but she is ok.She said that it was just a tentacle that must have fallen off a jelly fish and it wasn't too sore.Spaghetti Bog for dinner and then Robert, Karen, Mum and I played Bean Farmer, Karen won.Dad said that the wind should come back tomorrow.Day 17:The wind came back so we are sailing again.I had lots of school work to do and it took ages. Then Robert and I playedwith our Lego.Mum said that we will be using the last of the fresh meat. read more...

Day 13:It is still windy today which is good.We bought some more bananas in Mindelo so we had porridge with bananas, raisins and honey for breakfast. Mum said today that I am not to fish anymore until all the meat on the boat is gone because it will otherwise go bad.Its only a few days so I don't mind too much.We had Brazilian chicken for dinner again tonight - yummy. After dinner Karen taught Robert and I now know how to play a game she brought called Bean Farmer. Its a really good game but Robert won.Day 14:Fried eggs and beans for breakfast.I had to have another shower this morning, I didn't think I was that smelly though. This afternoon Dad decided to change the sails because the wind was not as strong. It was really bouncy when we turned the boat around into the waves which made me feel. read more...
