Twin Cats - Escapade & Field Trip arrive in Bermuda

Two identical Catamaran's, Escapade & Field Trip are now safely inside the St George's Town cut in Bermuda after 5 days at sea. The American owners, Neil & Shaun Sullivan (Escapade) and Mark & Sarah Silverstein (Field Trip) did not know each other before they had their Antares 44's built in Argentina in 2011. Since discovering they were buying the same design yacht in the same city, and planned to sail to the Caribbean and then onto the USA, the owners became friends. 

They kept in touch as they sailed their new boats to the Caribbean, and decided to participate in the Atlantic Cup 2012. Both crews have now just finished the first leg from Nanny Cay, where they crossed the start line together and finished with a few hours of each other after 5 days at sea. We will see how they did once the results have been established over the next few days. But for now, the crews intend to enjoy Bermuda, enjoy the dark & stormy's and hopefully get out and explore this beautiful island. 



Yachts Comocean, Trillium, Brizo & Surprise are also in Bermuda
