For some reason the updates for Monday and Tuesday did not get sent through sailmail. So, I'm incorporating all the updates in this one.
On Sunday we had a 200 mile day! Unfortunately, today we will not be able to match or beat that record but we still are moving along very nicely. We reached our half way point at about 8pm last evening.
No luck on the fishing since our first catch. However, we have managed to lose 2 lures along the way. The only fish that we landed was a rather large, flying fish that flew through the galley hatch, hit me on the shoulder, and flopped around my feet. The fish was not on the menu for lunch so Hubs picked him up and threw him over board.
The girls are continuing to plow through their school work. Since there is not much else to do I think they are actually enjoying the work!
Last night we had pizza for dinner and watched the movie Sherlock Holmes. Cindy, thanks for the pizza dough recipe, everybody enjoyed the pizza.
1384 miles until our destination....
Tuesday, March 13th -
Enjoyed movie night again - watched The Spy Next Door. That was the excitement of the day. Winds are a little lighter today but we are still moving along.
Wednesday, March 14th -
Not much happening today....pretty much the same as yesterday. Good winds today and we are moving along. 1227 nm to our destination. No luck with the fish and I think the girls have lost interest at the moment.
