A good night's sailling - with consistent winds of 10-15knots from the SE and waves of 1m.
Magali's cooking lessons for Joel continue - and today Joel cooked up a 'Real Man's Quiche' for lunch. Magali also made Banana bread - and because of dire situation with fishing - we had chicken BBQ for dinner.
Fishing wise it was just one of those days. We had 5 strikes - and one line snapped - but didn't manage to land anything. Fortunately, there were flying squid - and some of these rained on deck - and the usual flying fish. There is now some debate amongst the fleet as to whether we should count the flying fish as part of the fleet fishing total. Consensus is 'yes' - provided they are eaten or caught with your teeth... Joel will have a new task today!
