Sapphire II - March 4, Day 57, And They're Off!

Bright, sunny day in Pto Ayora, Santa Cruz, Galapagos.

About 9 Kts of breeze from SE. Sapphire and crew are ready. Last spare impeller picked up this morning.

We are estimating 17-18 days for the 3100 mile passage. Sorry that blog entries will be short and somewhat infrequent on this leg to keep astronomic satellite phone charges to a manageable level!

"The Off" is in an hour, so must run.

Adios for now until Bienvenue in Polynesia!

Exciting.
