Today we are still tied at the dock in the harbor at Mauritius. We have received the schedule of events this am on the morning broadcast and are looking forward to many activities until we leave on Sat. am. for Reunion.
Today we will go to Jumbo for provisioning the last of our supplies for the next two legs. Tomorrow we will have the task of refueling in this somewhat small area which provides a challenge for the fuel trucks and some of the boats. It will be nice not to have to worry about undocking and redocking to accomplish the task. Today they took all of our propane tanks to refuel those. I took the last bit of our laundry to get that done too.
Wed. we are looking forward to our Underwater Walk on the East side of the island. The participants will be some of the crews from Crazy Horse, Ocean Jasper, Jeannius, Chessie, and Wild Tigris. Hopefully, I will get the video to provide some good entertainment to bring home for family and friends to view.
Thurs afternoon Andrew will arrive. Thurs night we will have the party for all the World ARC boats here in the harbor where they will set up for dinner, drinks, and live entertainment. That should be lots of fun.
Friday will probably be the last of the provisioning to be accomplished. Sat am we will do all the steps necessary to check out of this lovely island. They will have a blessing of the boats. We will have the official start of the next leg to Reunion at 11:30am. Hopefully our sat phone will provide a correct global positioning of our next leg. However, don't be surprised if we look as if we are on the North Pole.
