Crazy Horse - Sept 30

Not much new to report here from the Indian Ocean. It seems to be relentless
in its wind, waves, rain and clouds. Right now we have confused seas , winds
up to 30 with gusts to 40kts. and cloudy skies. We have tried to get out of
the convergence zone but there seems to be no way out but through it. No
matter where the fleet it seems that we are all getting hit with the same
weather.

We have tried to find all the things on the boat that can go flying about.
Think we have finally succeeded.

Last night as Matt made a fantastic scallop with spinach cream sauce over
pasta it was especially challenging. He kept his cool as the stove was
rolling and the sauce was splattering. If it was up to me we would have had
sandwiches. But his pasta and scallop dish was pure luxury. In an otherwise
dismal day it was pure perfection. Tonight I think we will try something
less challenging.

I see that we only have 1543 miles to go to Mauritius. Since last night we
have avg. 9 nautical miles /hr. Seems 9 or 10 miles/hr has been pretty
constant today too.

Well, let me see if I can interest Matt in a game of Scrabble or cards.
Sometimes things get a little wet up in the cockpit so it adds to the
excitement.

Bill, Rosemary, and Matt
