Crazy Horse - Sept 28

After having the last couple of days of bad weather we got a reprieve last
night. It was clear and no rain for a change. The first two days were a bit
bumpy and squally. Everything just felt eternally wet. This morning we got
some more showers. The seas are calming a bit not the big waves hitting us
on the side for the moment. That provided a challenge to Matt making some
delicious fajitas and all the fixings. I managed to make some bread finally.
To those of you who know me know that I am "bread-making challenged". But
when you have none you learn quickly.

Just to let anyone know who thinks sailing requires no athletic ability,
here is a fact for you. I managed to wash the dishes while standing with a
10 degree heel on the boat and twist my foot around and close the banging
closet door while using my toe to push the lock in to secure it from further
banging. Now that requires some flexibility if you ask me! Plus today while
doing all this I was making homemade biscuits. This should be in an Olympic
competition!

We are doing well out here and able to hear the broadcasts today on the SSB.
Everyone seems to be having their fair share of rain and squalls and
changing wind conditions. Seems that we are all on a mission to get down to
15deg to get away from the storms and wind issues. Then we will all be
moving more westward toward Mauritius.
