As we were sailing along today I was reminding Bill of some of the items that were not working or were in need of repair. We ended up in one of those couple discussions I will call it. As I was on the third item to be looked at Bill was pulling his hair out reminding me he can only do one thing at a
time. Let me see, the toilet backed up, the drain for the shower was not going down, and the electric winch was not wenching, the sail needed to be reefed, and the auto pilot was squeeking. So you can see all is not paradise in paradise. We have our little issues on the boat as any one who has a boat knows.
Taking a shower can be a challenge when you must keep one toe in the high side of the drain to make the water go down.Sometimes I feel like a gymnast when doing this or cooking when everything goes flying to the other end of the counter.
Make no mistake. Bill and Matt seem to adapt to all this a lot easier than me. Maybe it is an estrogen thing. Guess it is easy to blame it all on that. Bill is working hard to fix things, Matt is helping with the repairs too. I am doing my fair share of cooking, cleaning, and keeping watch too.
Me,well, maybe I should just start writing down a list rather than reminding.Maybe just one of those large boards with the dry erase pads. Yes, that's it. Watch out Marquesas I am on the lookout for one big board.
