This week as the fleet have been busy preparing to depart on their World ARC adventure, one participant, Elliot (aged 8) took the opportunity to sit down with World Cruising Club Managing Director, Paul Tetlow, and interview him for his YouTube channel!
Elliot is sailing with his mum and dad on Pure Joy a 2023 Seawind 1600 Passagemaker. This will not be Elliot's first World Cruising Club rally. The family sailed in ARC 2023, making the crossing from Las Palmas de Gran Canaria to Saint Lucia in 18 days. They were joined onboard by Sailor Ted - the ARC mascot, who is also on the crew list for World ARC!

Pure Joy is one of seven family boats taking taking part in the 2025-26 edition of World ARC and Elliot is one of thirteen children aged between seven and fifteen.
