Synopsis: A broad/weak trough of low pressure continues to cover waters from
Hispaniola E'ward to the Leeward Islands and N'ward over adjacent waters
through 25N. This trough will dissipate through tomorrow. Ridging from
mid-ocean high pressure will build over the E'rn Caribbean later tomorrow into
the 17th. A cold front will move slowly over E'ward over Puerto Rico and the
Virgin Islands on the 18th-19th.

Conclusion: Gentle to moderate E'ly trade breezes will gradually veer to ESE'ly
through tomorrow, then become SE'ly into the 17th as a ridge builds from
mid-ocean high pressure. The winds will tend highest over the N'rn Half of
Grid II today, then will be more uniformly distributed through the grid
tomorrow. For the 17th, winds will tend highest in the morning, then ease to
the lower end of the below ranges (if not 1-3 kts lower) due to ridging
shifting to the east ahead of the cold front. Scattered squalls will continue
to diminish today and will be isolated tonight through tomorrow. Squalls will
increase on the latter half of the 17th as the front approaches from the west.
