WRI HAS DETECTED A DEVELOPING TROPICAL LOW AT 20/07Z, SUBTROPICAL LOW #1 WAS CENTERED NEAR 23.2N 53.2W (APPROXIMATELY 825 NAUTICAL MILES SOUTHEAST OF BERMUDA), WITH MOVEMENT NEARLY STATIONARY, WITH MAXWINDS 20-30KTS.SUBTROPICAL LOW #1 IS STILL A RATHER BROAD SYSTEM, DEVOID OF INTENSE SQUALLS, WHICH ARE IN FACT FOUND SEVERAL HUNDRED MILES EAST AND SOUTHEAST OF THE CENTER. CONDITIONS ARE FAVORABLE FOR FURTHER DEVELOPMENT AS A SUBTROPICAL/TROPICAL CYCLONE OVER THE NEXT 2-3 DAYS. BEHIND  THIS FRONT, LOW LEVEL INSTABILITY IS OBSERVED AS COOLER CONTINENTAL AIR IS  FLOWING OVER THE RELATIVELY WARM WATERS OF THE ATLANTIC TO GENERATE NUMEROUS  LOW TO MID LEVEL CLOUDINESS AND EMBEDDED RAIN SHOWERS. HIGH PRESSURE CURRENTLY SOUTHEAST OF THE NEW ENGLAND COAST WILL RAPIDLY  PROGRESS E'WARD THROUGH THE CENTRAL ATLANTIC TO JUST WEST OF THE AZORES BY LATE  SUNDAY. THIS FRONT IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE MOVING  E'WARD THROUGH THE DAY, AND COULD BE ACCOMPANIED BY A BRIEF SQUALL OR SHOWER,  ESPECIALLY ACROSS THE N'RN GRIDS. IN ITS WAKE, HIGH PRESSURE WILL BUILD E'WARD  FROM TENNESSEE TO NORTH CAROLINA'S OUTER BANKS BY THIS EVENING. THIS FRONT WILL MOVE SE'WARD, AND WILL EXTEND FROM 33N/75W  NE'WARD TO 41N/65W BY THE NIGHT OF THE 17TH. FRONT THEN MOVES E'WARD AND ACROSS  BERMUDA ON THE 18TH, THEN DISSIPATES.A RIDGE OF HIGH PRESSURE EXTENDS FROM 33N/60W E'WARD TO 30W.
