As the sun rose on Wednesday the crew of Valent breathed out. It had been a fast night, possibly a little bit too much on the edge. Boat speeds topped 15kts at one point and the wind regularly hit the 30kt mark. Having read the latest forecast the Northerly shift in the wind is happening later and further South than originally expected, so we have altered the sail plan to sail deeper. Crew very happy and enjoying the fresh bread each morning. Next cake about to be baked. Mike and Neil doing their morning crossword.
