2 nights down, a third of the way to Mindelo and life on board Valent is chilled. The lowlight of the day so far has been to redo the pump out mechanism on the frd heads. Turned out the key membranes and valves were horribly calcified and refused to shut properly. Result heads filling with smelly water. On the upside sun is out, people happy and speed acceptable. Dwight happy on watch while the rest of the crew do crosswords.
