Oceano - Log Day 2 - In search of tranquility

It was nice 24 hours. The Ocean greeted us rather kindly. The start was tight but wind force did not put our heavy princess in front of the pack. We weren’t betting on that. But when the wind came we started to sail quite nicely with speeds up to 15 knots and good average. From the beginning we opted for starting with second reef on main and it played out for us after all. When the wind came we just sailed as before. But faster. Without any reefing fuss. The night was rough though. Nasty swell but nice wind. One severe sea sickness and two mild ones. But they are getting better. The sun is shining, Alice in Chains is playing, Aglio’eOglio is on the stove. Happy days are just about to get started Right now we are riding on full main and jib on south westerly course. Waiting to his our Parasailor on westerly tack. Cheers to everyone!
