Timshel - Cocos to Mauritius Day 6

We went charging on, on a broad reach, during the night. By the morning with the wind up still more we reefed and turned downwind wing and wing with the yankee poled out - much more peaceful, but still making progress. Boats at the front of the fleet are getting a bit faint on the SSB, we need to shift to a longer range frequency soon. Connection to the sailmail station in Brunei for this message is getting more tenuous as the distance gets bigger, but we are still a long way from the Africa station. Martin set up a driver on the computer for me to connect with the satphone instead, but for some reason that wouldn't work this morning either. Hopefully I can get this message sent!
