We arrived to Mackay on July 26th and it has been a very busy few weeks. Lew headed back to Ohio to work for a couple of weeks and Corinne and the girls traveled to Sydney for visit last week.
After being around the marina for longer than expected the young entrepreneurs aboard BRIZO and Samsara decided it was time to get a job and make some cash. Kathryn, Audrey, Samantha and Sarah sold lemonade at the marina yesterday and made over $145 AUS! So, if you can't be cruising sell lemonade!
The new school year begins for the girls today. Lew brought all the materials back from Hathaway Brown and the girls seem genuinely eager to get going! We'll see how long that lasts!
We are finally heading out from Mackay to meet up with the rally at Thursday Island. We said goodbye to Pauline, Lee, Sam and Sara, at least for now. They will be sorely missed but it will not be a surprise to cross paths sometime soon.
