This post is way out of order and a month overdue, but nonetheless, it was our record breaking day for distance travelled; 174 miles noon to noon! So much wind, we were flying! In the afternoon we caught a fish on our hand line with the cedar plug. It was such a beautiful fish, too! Our first ever rainbow runner. Very delicate flavour and tender flesh. It was the perfect celebration dinner!
