This morning the guys from Summer Electronics came and removed our alternator. I took the kayak around the harbour and out into the bay. It was a beautiful, sunny, calm day. After a few boat chores and lunch, we took a taxi into Lautoka to explore provisioning options. Thankfully, there was a nice grocery market called Xxtra that would provide what we needed. We scouted it out, grabbed a few things, and were back at the boat in time to get prepared for a little happy hour party. We had crew from Chubby Bunny, Selene, and Peikea over and enjoyed good fellowship. All too soon, it was time to say farewell. Andre and Flora had sold Chubby Bunny that day, and were flying back to the Netherlands on Friday. Tjerk and Henne were going to leave to go to New Caledonia. Both of these boats have left the WARC. We are sad to see them go, but wish them all the best in their future endeavours. Manuel and his children, Albert and Elena will be going to the Yasawahs for a few days, then meeting back up with us in Musket Cove. We are hoping to get the alternator installed tomorrow and be on our way to the Mamanuka Islands for a few days on the Sweet Dream.image1.
