We upped anchor in the brilliant light of the stars at 02:00 am. , motored out following out previous track, and raised sail just north of Porviner. We had a great run to Colon. Twelve hours of lovely sailing from close hauled to dead downwind. Came into Shelter bay, gave our girl her own happy hour, filling up with fuel, then backed into a lovely finger berth on delta dock. The marina staff were helpful and kind, the WARC rally control on hand to guide us in. We are on a dock listening to exotic birds and howling monkeys, plenty of fresh water and electricity! Getting all the ducks in a row for the Panama Canal transit on the 3d of February. We just had a visit from the admeasure, inspector for the canal pilot authority. Hope to hit a good store and provision this afternoon. What a crazy life living this Sweet Dream!
