In Tune - IN TUNE 8th December. Out of lures

We were expecting a forecast meteor shower last night which did not eventuate, so will continue watching each night this coming week. Running under the Parasailor was OK last night until just before dawn when Steve & I then had to battle for over an hour, first to stop it collapsing because there was not enough wind, and then secondly because rain squalls came through putting wind in every direction until it finally settled down.

Often there is not a lot happening on night watch and we all have our ways of filling in the time. Martin & Steve listen to audio books, Angela reads books on the tablet or tries (unsuccessfully) to beat it at solitaire; I listen to music.

Today has been a pretty pleasant and quiet day - mostly sunny with wind of about 10 knots. We have finally found a game that Geraldine does not win - Nomination Whist. Martin is still struggling to beat Steve at chess. Steve has lost all my lures now and is down to trying to make some from twix wrappers; no bites! Meat ball pasta for dinner tonight.
