Day 13- Friday, December 7, 2018
¢ Night Watch Report:
o 19-23 knot winds with gusts - sailing main-2 and genoa. Danica's speed 8+ knots
o 2-3m swells NE with frequent 4m confused surges that twisted poor Danica back and forth putting lots of force on sails, rigging and autopilot
o Milky way showed all her beauty to those brave enough to sit at helm and admire the view
o Predicted squalls luckily did not reach our little portion of the ocean
o 09:00 - trip distance so far 1985.5 NM - we will break the 2000 nautical miles today and are roughly two thirds of the way to St. Lucia
o More flying fish on the trampoline in the morning
o another beautiful sunrise with mostly blue skies except on the very north , where the squalls can materialize

o 14-19 knot winds/ sailing at 7-8 knots with main-2 and genoa , wing-on-wing
