¢ Night Watch Report:
o 15-20 knot winds - gusts up to 25, sailing Main-2 and Genoa. Danica's average speed was 8 knots
o 3-4 m swells with chop- twisting the boat around
o More flying fish and starry skies
o No vessels in sight
¢ Day sailing and Danica's Trip's distance
o 17-21 knot winds/ sailing at 7-8 knots with Main-2 and Genoa, wing-on-wing
o 12:00 - noon - Trip distance - 1647NM - 183 NM in 24 hrs (highest so far)
¢ Highs and Lows of the day
o Yesterday Captain told me that our boat was actually placed with the large catamarans in group A - I plotted the positions of both groups and we fit somewhere in the middle of the pack now.
o By the time we make it to our destination Sea Child will become Sea Teenager. Bravo Eric and Tamara! See you in a few days….you are an inspiration !!!
