Another exciting day of sailing on the Atlantic Ocean
Before breakfast got underway we had our morning pole dancing session, more
commonly known as a gybe [..unfortunately, or maybe fortunately, having just
come off watch, I was sound asleep so did not participate...]. This morning
exercise gave the crew an increased appetite for a delicious bowl of
porridge for breakfast, thanks to Dan. During the morning we had a fantastic
display from a whale that came alongside for a short while. We think it may
have been a small sperm whale but we are not absolutely certain. Later in
the day we also had some dolphins playing on the bow wave.

Lunchtime..well!! congratulations to Nigel for making some fantastic bread
rolls. Most of us are now reluctant to follow up Nigel's high standards in
the bakery department. All those in favour of making Nigel the only baker on
board say 'aye'....
Em has also been cooking today and made a delicious banana cake out of the
remaining banana's that we purchased in Las Palmas which we consumed with
some tea in the afternoon.

Today Skyelark hosted the first pub quiz on the SSB radio. The crew came up
with twenty questions, not easy when your brain is focused on sailing,
fishing and food.... Dan ran the questions over the radio..really good fun,
Dan has volunteered us to run it again tomorrow.....
Also, this afternoon we caught our fourth Dorado, another one for the
fridge. Nigel and Soren are back in the galley tonight coming up with some
gastronomic delight....can't wait...

Chris
