Cerulean of Penryn - Cerulean of Penryn ARC+ leg 2 day 4

DATE:2018-11-24 016:36Z
TITLE: ARC+ LEG 2 DAY 4
LOCATION: 16:40 032:52
AUTHOR: RICHARD ROWLEY
BODY:

465nm down 1627 to go.

The wind and swell have died down quite a bit during the day. Still f5 to 6 but wind moved round to East.

Looks like we are heading for a patch of light wind in a few days time, so we have headed south of the rhumb line to keep ourselves in the wind, yes i know we are a fickle bunch, either too much wind or not enough, but we do need to have a bit to keep us going so we do not have to resort to the engine. We only have a limited amount of fuel and the damn thing is far too noisy.

As we are sailing and not running the engine we are have the generator on at the moment to top up the batteries and run the water maker. We are using about 60 litres of water per day depending how often I have a shower.

It's my turn to prepare dinner for tonight, pulled pork chilli in the MrD thermal cooker, I prepared it this morning and it is cooking away nicely as we I write to you...mmm... can you smell it...we will perhaps treat ourselves and wash it down with some Robinson's Lemon Barley Water...

It's a bit cloudy today, but still plenty of blue patches in the sky and about 26deg C and the sea temp is 26.8deg C
