At last we have got clear of the bad weather, the sun is shining, bikinis have gone on and the fish are biting!
It couldn’t be more true about the butter... as soon as you hit 20 degrees north, the sun starts to shine, the butter does indeed melt and so are we. It’s hot at night now (we don’t have air con) and we are currently in 1.9 knots of wind so not much breeze to keep us cool but we can’t complain because this is AMAZING!
We are so pleased and proud of ourselves to have got through some nasty days with everything and more importantly, everyone, intact. Susan Ann II is most definitely looking after us well. Susan Ann II is named after my late mum and I’m sure she’s looking down on us and keeping us safe.
We will wake up to the trade winds tomorrow and can’t wait to get downwind sailing again.
