Nexus - Arrived Safely in Salvador Bahia, Brazil!

We hove to most of the night making about 1-2kts outside the harbor, and arrived at first light this morning into Salvador Brazil. We didn't want to inconvenience the Rally Control crew with a night arrival and safety concerns outside the marina, so we drifted along with Ghost and Alpheratz and came in at first light. Salvador is a large, vibrant city with an interesting culture, and you can feel the building excitement leading up to Carnival in a couple of weeks. We're busy cleaning the boat, clearing customs, exchanging money, and getting sim cards for internet. Tomorrow we will check out the tours and opportunities on offer here after a good night's rest!
