RCWings - RC Wings is Sailing South

RC Wings has arrived in Annapolis. We have travelled all the way from Sarnia, Ontario, Canada--almost 1000 nautical miles just to get to this point.  Now, the fun begins.Our route to get this far was:Go down the St. Clair River, through Lake St. Clair, down the Detroit River, and through Lake Erie to Buffalo.  At Buffalo, we took our mast down, stored it on our boat (yes, we looked like a narwhal) and motored through the Erie Barge Canal to the Hudson River.  We took the Hudson River south to New York Harbor (putting our mast up in Catskills, NY), then go down the coast to the Delaware Bay.  We sailed up the Delaware Bay, through the C&D Canal, and into the Chesapeake Bay.  We have now arrived in Annapolis and plan on going to the Annapolis Boat Show, before. read more...
