Corsair - Corsair moving toward Portsmouth for the beginning of Rally Operations

Corsair left Tampa Bay in late July for the trip to Portsmouth with stopsin Key West, West Palm Beach, Fernandina Beach, FL, Charleston, SC then aroundCape Hatteras to Baltimore where she has been for the last month. Providing hurricane Mathew does not get in out way we will be leaving Baltimoreon October 8 for a short cruise down the Chesapeake arriving in Portsmouth onOctober 16. Corsair - Corsair update

After a light wind spinnaker start out of the Chesapeake, winds improved about 17:00 and continued throughout the night. Tuesday morning we began our crossing of the Gulf Stream off Cape Hatteras.We were fortunate to be just ahead of Naval operations including an aircraft carrier. Several of the boats behind us have been asked to divert either east or southwest o avoid the Naval operation.  One of our fleet "Hearts Desire" issued a Pan Pan early this morning reporting engine problems.
