Synopsis: Low pressure near 35N/70W with a cold front SW'ward through the N'rn
Bahamas and Central Florida will track e'ward to near 35N/66W by this evening
before turning to the northeast to near 36N/61W by tomorrow morning. The
associated cold front will track e'ward and reach the s'rn Bahamas tomorrow
morning. This front will stall from just north of Hispaniola and north of
Puerto Rico on the 12th.
A ridge of high pressure will build from Florida e'ward over the Bahamas on the
11th, then weaken late that day.
Another cold front will extend from 35N/70W SW'ward to S'rn Georgia by evening
of the 11th, then continue se'ward dad extend from 30N/70W SW'ward to Central
Florida by the morning of the 13th.
Conclusion: Veering and enhanced SW-W-NW winds associated with a strengthening
low will move E-SE'ward across Grid EE and FF through tonight with the
strongest winds across the n'rn portions of both of these grids, closer to the
low. Farther south, light winds now from south-central Grid F to n'rn Grid H
will "fill in" later today through tonight with the approach and passing of the
front associated with the strengthening low. Winds will steadily ease as
ridging broadens for grids EE and FF tomorrow with the steadier winds tending
to shift s'ward in the form of NE winds across much of Grid HH and n'rn Grid
II, to the north of where the front will stall.
NW swell associated with the developing low will build as it spreads SE'ward
across n'rn Grid EE today and then across the remainder of Grid EE and n'rn
Grid FF tomorrow.
