The ridge will remain in place while gradually broadening and weakening through the 14/12, before a strong area of high pressure builds across the w Atlantic on the 15/12 and extends e to 45W on the 16/12. A gale is currently located near 35N/50W. This gale will track e to 35W on the 14/12, then will strengthen as it tracks n to 55N through the 17/12.A second gale will develop over Nova Scotia on the 15/12, and will track ese to the Azores on the 19/12. Conclusion: A slow and gradual easing trend with E trades is expected across all grids throughout the day today and through tomorrow evening as the high pressure ridging weakens across the region. Swells in grids RR and QQ are also expected to gradually abate throughout the day tomorrow, while swells in the more n grids of LL and KK will build tomorrow as the gale passes to the north.
