Synopsis: Good morning. High pressure is centered near 37N/41W. Associated ridging extends SW to the NE Caribbean, S to near 13N between the Leeward Islands and the Cape Verdes, and ESE to the Canary Islands. This high will move E over the Azores by tomorrow morning as the ridging remains in place. The high will then weaken and move slightly SE on the 05/12 as a cold front passes to the north of the high. However, the ridging is expected to remain in place for the next several days. Conclusion: Conditions overall will be fairly consistent over the forecast area for the next few days. Moderate to fresh E trade winds will be in place across the region. These trade winds will produce an E wind driven swell which will be in place across the region for the next few days as well.
