Synopsis: Good morning. Weak high pressure covers waters from near the Canary Islands WSW to near 15N by 30W and then extends W across the Atlantic to the E Caribbean. A high center is near 37N/50W. This high will move E and be just west of the Azores by tomorrow afternoon. This high will then remain stationary near the Azores area through the morning of the 05/12. This high will then weaken slightly. However, the ridging south of 25N will remain in place for the following several days. Conclusion: Fresh E trade winds will remain in place over the forecast area for the next few days. These will produce an E wind driven swell which will remain in place over the next few days as well. Tomorrow and on the 04/12, the ridging will strengthen which will increase the winds slightly and lead to a building of the seas.
