Synopsis: Good morning. A thermal trough of low pressure extends along the W Coast of Africa from 15N to 25N. The trough will remain in place thru tomorrow night, then drift offshore on the 14/11 and 15/11. To the W of this trough, ridging from high pressure centered E of the Azores extends S along 20W to 15N. This ridging will tend to shift N and weaken over the next 3 days. In the long range, the trough will dissipate on the 16/11, with the ridging strengthening steadily from midday 16/11 into the 17/11. Conclusion: NE winds today will tend highest in the n section of Grid BB, and these winds will tend to gradually ease thru tomorrow evening. Starting tomorrow morning, N winds and swells will become enhanced across E parts of Grids GG and MM due to the interaction between the thermal trough of low pressure and high pressure ridging, with gusts reaching 33kts closer to the coast of Africa by tomorrow evening.
