Timshel - Brazil to Grenada Day 2

Everyone had a great day sailing yesterday - sunshine, good wind from behind 2-3 knots of favourable current. We had dolphins all round the boat just before dinner time. Wind was forecast to go down overnight, but instead we got squalls (guess we are getting to the doldrums), Steve got rather wet and Anita got woken up every time she went for her watch down below, but we reefed the sails in time and avoided damage. Some of the fleet have less spinnakers (or perhaps smaller ones than before), some broken battens and a broken traveller but everyone is OK and sailing on. Some of course took down their coloured sails before dark. Apart from a brief calm early morning (with heavy swell remaining) we have been sailing well winds from 12 to 20 knots, so all good. For a change we are not last in the position reports but 4 boats did start 12 hours late as they didn't want to go off in the dark.
